Do you want to add a family member to your Basic Health account?
Download the Adding Family Members Form or request one by calling 1-800-842-7712. The family member will be added to your account but will not be enrolled. The individual will be placed on our wait list and offered coverage when space becomes available. See exceptions to the wait list or call 1-800-660-9840.
Medical assistance and other programs available through DSHS
Through the Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS), a variety of medical assistance programs are available, which may cost members less and include expanded health benefits.
In addition to medical assistance, DSHS can help offset other expenses to include food and child care.
To see what programs you or a family member may qualify for at DSHS, go online to the trial eligibility calculator at www.dshs.wa.gov/esa/TEC/. This site will allow you to:
- Complete an online application,
- Download an application to mail in, or
- Locate your local Community Service office.
